The
BlackBerry Curve 8500 is a series of BlackBerry smartphones developed by Research In Motion. Announced in July 2009 and released the following August, the 8500s continued the "consumer-oriented" philosophy of the BlackBerry Pearl and 8300 series, including multimedia features and a 2 megapixel built-in camera.
